What I say : I'll NEVER : EVER pretend having "reading you" in the sense of "I am far too much exposed, and I don't like / I'm afraid of that".
I NEVER / EVER have / had this attitude of "inquisition" (you know, people who heavily insist in knowing everything about you, your size, your weight, your private life...) about the people I meet and I really, deeply appreciate.
My attitude is a TOTAL, ABSOLUTE respect about your private life and private person, in fact for me it is impossible to say "I love this Artist" if you don't respect the Human person, this is simply impossible, and a lie.
What I say : the sincerity in your words is indubitable, your are always true.
...And by "true" I don't mean "You tell us everything about your daily intimate life in all its details, even the smallest, this way readers could say that they know you just by reading your words."
I don't say that, never. What I say is just that : you're a true Poet. People who will read your works in a book will receive great, immediate BENEFITS for their OWN life, if they really pay attention, if they are opened to the pure sensation of your words.
I would like to repeat this word, so that your understand my attitude : R-E-S-P-E-C-T.
Total and unbreakable respect, always.
In fact, the idea of the opposite is, for my little and insignificant person, totally unbearable, intolerable. More I love and respect someone, more I want her / him to be totally FREE, 1000 % FREE, to be, to express and to do exactly what she/he want and is, to reveal exactly what she / he wanna reveal, and to hide the rest, to even hide everything if wanted / needed.
The freedom to say nothing, to ignore other, to don't respond to no one / nothing, is ESSENTIAL for me.
In fact, how could I say "I love this Artist / person" if I don't respect her/his TOTAL freedom ? It's a contradiction, a double language. And I hate double thoughts, double speaking and double attitudes. All my humble words are always true.
You're NOT exposed because you tell your Truth, you allow others to enjoy sounds and images of your Truth, to compare to their own, and to see how their own feelings and sensations are similar to yours.
Your private life is safe. Your poems are NOT your life, they are... gifts.
